The Pen is mightier than the sword, but the Pen must sometimes move the sword against corruption if the corrupt are not moved by the pen.. An idea without an implementer is useless. "The Rulers do not carry the sword in vain"Rom 13:4

Tony Abbott- "God is not mocked, whatever a man sows, that also will Tony reap"

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Gal 6)

Mr Abbott is alleged to have been the 'hatchet' man behind the demise of Pauline Hanson. After they had safely sent into political oblivion (and Jail) on trumped up charges, and stolen many of her polcies,  Mr Abbott continued his lifelong quest for the top job as top dog.....and he got it.

Now..after some monumental blunders and mis-readings of the Australian Electorate, he faces his own team of 'hatchet holders' in the form of Julie Bishop, Malcolm Turnbull, and the person I personally think  will be the next Liberal Prime Minister of Australia, Scott (fixed bayonets/take no prisoners) Morrison.

If the allegations against Mr Abbott are true, and the evidence seems to strongly suggest it is (Re Hanson) then his own impending demise will not exactly shake up the cosmos too much in terms of 'just deserts'. "Those who live by the callous 'end justifies the means' political  sword, will also die by it".

My biggest beef with Mr Abbott is his attitude toward Islam. He is either ignorant of its true character, (suggesting he is unfit for Australia's highest office) or.. he does understand it and is lying, again...an attribute that disqualifies him from high office.  He chooses to use terminology that is making a value judgement on Islam that is disconnected from the facts.... he refers to the actions of Terrorists as "This is not Islamic"  which is patently incorrect by any measure of truth and historical fact.  It would be much more preferable for him to say "Most Muslims do not practice their faith in that way".

We will see what we will see over the next few months as to his  future. I visit a lottttt of people every day and do my own surveys on such matters, and I can assure you that there is very little support for him as a prime minister, mainly because there is not much support for him as a man.

Julie Bishop....not a bad surname for an Anglican. Mr Abbott is notably Catholic, as is his rising bosom buddy of many public occasions Michaelia Cash.

Malcolm Turnbull has an interesting past, with a few economic and business trysts behind the shelter sheds with the likes of Labor's Neville Wran and Labor's Nicholaus Whitlam... hmmmm (sideways look at Mal)   It seems Mal does not have any particular 'branding' religiously on his forehead, and was educated at a secular public school. This seems to be reflected in his social values (or lack thereof).
Personally I find his social views disturbingly 'progressive' and tend to think that the only progress Australia will make if he is PM is down Corey Bernadi's now well proven and clearly documented slippery slope.

I'd take Julie for now...and then when the heavy lifting comes on for the next electoral 15 rounder, I'll go for 'Killer' Scott Morrison. He is the more likely one to survive and thrive in a political cage fight with the obscene (my opinion) likes of Bill Shorten who is destined to short sheet* Australia's economy if he ever gets hold of the reigns of power.

*This means you unmake someones bed, and turn the top sheet back on itself so the occupant gets into the bed but finds his feet only go half way down.  I learned this in the RAAF.
