The Pen is mightier than the sword, but the Pen must sometimes move the sword against corruption if the corrupt are not moved by the pen.. An idea without an implementer is useless. "The Rulers do not carry the sword in vain"Rom 13:4

21 Christian Martyrs sent to heaven, 21 murderers confirmed to hell.

The 21 Egyptian Christians  murdered by ISIS were part of an elaborate propaganda exercise that I'm sure you already know about.  But there's one thing you might have missed, that is quite dangerous psychologically because it was aimed at the subconscious.  Did you see the photo of the murderers and captives marching along the sandy sea shore? Have a look at the height of the ISIS killers! They are all noticably much taller than their victims.  This is no coincidence for sure.. it tells the viewer that ISIS fighters are BIG and INVINCIBLE and IN CHARGE and 'not to be messed with" and so on.

 Of Jesus, the prophet Isaiah wrote:

Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
    and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
    yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
    and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
    so he did not open his mouth.

By oppression and judgment he was taken away. (Isaiah 53)

These words have become true also for these 21 souls that now have the  greatest blessing mankind can ever experience:

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (2 Cor 5)

As for the ISIS murderers... while they have breath, they have hope too of a new life in Christ, but my feeling is they are beyond redemption and hope... so even while they are in this world, their fate is sealed and this is it:

27 What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. 28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt 10)
 It is not the role of Christians to carry out revenge, specially in Christs name. But it IS the role of "The Emperor" to deal a dose of divine justice in this world to such deviants as ISIS. So it is in the name of 'The State' that world leaders can take needed initiatives against this disease. What worries me a bit though, is that the more polarized the world becomes between "Islamic Radicals" and everyone else, the more likely will be the sickening possibility of a complete takeover of Middle East States by these Radicals and we will then see, (for those who have open eyes) the true nature of Islam as Muhammad and his 4 'rightly guided' Caliph's practiced it.

At that point, we face a disturbing choice...what to 'do' with the Muslims in Western Nations?   My suggestion is to send them packing to the Middle East if it becomes "Islamist-ised".
