The Licentious Left and Private Perfidy. (Hollande)

It's as bizarre as it gets when social icons like Rolf Harris, Coronation St St Bill Roache, David Lee Travis (DJ) are held to public account for their private indescretions, but when Francois Hollande, the president of France is exposed as a philandering gad fly, apparently unable to keep his penis in his pants, suddenly.. "Private lives should be private" say the Left in France.

The suggestion that his moral judgements are an indication of his ability to make sound judgements on things like the economy are scoffed at. Well, how about other matters which effect the social and moral fabric of the Nation?

Of course this condition is not unique to the political Left, but they do appear to have a disproportionate number of high profile high powered icons who dabble their toes in the tepid pool of sexual adventure.

I just wonder what the answer would be in the case of Rolf Harris from the Socialist Politician interviewed on French TV about Hollande?  She seems quite convinced that private matters are to be private....but give the Left a media inch about some political enemy and they'll take a mile to foam profusely in condemnation and an attempt to take full political advantage of it.
