The Pen is mightier than the sword, but the Pen must sometimes move the sword against corruption if the corrupt are not moved by the pen.. An idea without an implementer is useless. "The Rulers do not carry the sword in vain"Rom 13:4

Open letter to thinking Democrats in America. (from Australia)

Yep..it's me again.. from out past the old Aussie "Black Stump"... if you don't get that.. google it pls.

Now..I have a very honest and simple question for you folks. Specially for those who voted Democrat last time, but... consider yourselves a swinging voter.

Firstly, it's quite possible that your own representative is a man of genuine concern and principle... I accept that.. it's conceivable that you voted for him/her for that reason. But please.. always consider this, he or she is.. under the whip of the Party,   their individual nobility might be subjected to the bigger nefarious momentum of the 'Chicago Machine' for the sake of a descriptive term that seems to resonate with  reality and history.

Secondly, I note your economy appears to be doing much better this year than same time last year.
I'm also guessing that this might in part be due to the 'stimulus' funding injected into the economy.

Now we get to the catchy part.

a) The money 'injected' is....borrowed.
b) That borrowed money must be repaid.
c) If the economy has experienced something of a mini 'boom' because of that borrowed money.....
d) Does it not seem obvious that when that borrowed money is repaid...it must come 'from' the Economy?
e) Does that not suggest that the 'boost' the economy experienced because of borrowed money, it will equally experience somewhat of a  'bust' when the funding is paid back? (with interest).

If these simple steps of logic make sense. I raise the question about 'why' the Obama regime followed this path.. while knowing that the crunch will come...but as an Israelite king once said when warned by the Prophet Isaiah that showing all the treasure of Jerusalem to the Babylonian envoy will result in the Babylonians coming to take it all,.... "Oh this is good news.. it will not happen in my lifetime"

Here is this very instructive account.
Background..King Hezekiah had become sick..well.. let's all read it together. (Isaiah 38)

38 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”
Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah: “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city.

So far so good... as soon as Hezekiah is 'off the hook'...he seems to forget common sense...read on.

Envoys From Babylon

Is 39
1.  At that time Marduk-Baladan son of Baladan king of Babylon sent Hezekiah letters and a gift, because he had heard of his illness and recovery. Hezekiah received the envoys gladly and showed them what was in his storehouses—the silver, the gold, the spices, the fine olive oil—his entire armory and everything found among his treasures. There was nothing in his palace or in all his kingdom that Hezekiah did not show them.
Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah and asked, “What did those men say, and where did they come from?”
“From a distant land,” Hezekiah replied. “They came to me from Babylon.”
The prophet asked, “What did they see in your palace?”
“They saw everything in my palace,” Hezekiah said. “There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.”
Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the Lord Almighty: The time will surely come when everything in your palace, and all that your predecessors have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the Lord. And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood who will be born to you, will be taken away, and they will become eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
“The word of the Lord you have spoken is good,” Hezekiah replied. For he thought, “There will be peace and security in my lifetime.”

COMMENT.  firstly.. as a voter.. always have a healthy sckepticism of any political 'gift' from people.   lastly.. Hezekiah stopped worrying when he realized it would be his descendents who have to pay the price for his  perfidy.

USA NATIONAL FEDERAL DEBT.    CURRENTLY AT  $16.7 TRILLION.

Each Citizen owes $53,000,000

While I am advising you to not vote Democrat for a host of reasons.. it is not because I happen to 'love' the Republican Party.  Until validated information to the contrary arises, I would urge support for the ethically preferacle Tea Party movement.   But if you do happen to vote Republican at the next election.. remember, you can vote them out next time.

PROGRESS in US ECONOMY.. on the surface it appears that due to unexpected higher revenues...the Gov't will pay down 45 billion in Debt in th 2nd Qtr 2013 (now)  That is unquestionable a great sign and start. But remember..this is all on the back of....'borrowed money' that must be repaid with interest.  IF....that borrowed money came primarily from US sources.. (borrowing from yourselves) that's definitely the best way to go, but... it does not actually grow the economy unLESS it contributes to :

i) New Innovation which will result in local US based manufacturing and exports.(which might include software)
ii) New discoveries of  resources which can either replace imports or be exported.
iii) Expanded agricultural program which leads to export.

That is for you to judge and discern.

One final point, if each member of your family (including children) owes $53k... and you have 3 children...that's a family debt of....$259k.

Now.. where will Government revenues come from to pay the debt? hmmm.. *quick head scratch*....
well..from "you" of course. Directly or indirectly.  So.. however they pay it.. consider what it would mean to you.. your family, if it was to be repaid in.. let's be generous.. 10 yrs.   259/10 =$25k per family (of 3 kids) per YEAR...until it goes away.  One way or the other, either in the form of reduced benefits or services, or higher taxes... it will come from 'your' flesh.

Given the Democrats were apparently elected because of their generous social welfare direction (with money they don't have).... putting the Republicans in, will more than likely decimate a lot of those services, but the kicker is.... the Dems will have to do the same from the security of being in office.. just like the pale faced, furrowed browed, glazed eyed "Democrats" of Australia..the Labor Party.. -they have allocated $3.1 BILLION to look after feral assylum seekers for 2013/14  and.. and.. wait for  it.. they have SLASHED and burned $2.8 billion from.... UNIVERSITIES!

So, in our case (Australia) we are cutting off our nose to spite our face!...needless self destruction.  If you have at all followed the polls here.. you know why the Labor politicians are all glazed eyed.. they know as certainly as day follows night they will be devastatingly wiped from the political landscape in September.  Voter outrage, especially over the millions/billions spent on boat people.. is incandescent!

We voters need to get a grip..and stop thinking as 'rusted onto' this party or that party and start thinking with some very down to earth logic and informed  reasoning.

If you folks in the USA don't get it right next time.. then I have to warn you I'm coming to take over :) yes..that's a bit of a joke.. (unless you pay my fare.. change your laws so an Aussie can be El Presidente, and actually invite me)  but I had fun with it...here.

If you have the slighest bit of interest as to 'how' I might rule.. I guarantee it's pretty racy stuff.
