Is Nationalism 'Fascism'?

If you believe the internationalist ferals on the Left.. of course it is...but then..anything to the right of Marx is by default "Fascist/Nazi" especially so if they happen to raise their voices above the dull murmour of the bland compliant  crowd of  the generally silent masses.

So, let's look at what Fascism means?

fascist movements share certain common features, including the veneration of the state, a devotion to a strong leader, and an emphasis on ultranationalism, ethnocentrism and militarism. Fascism views political violence, war, and imperialism as a means to achieve national rejuvenation  and asserts that nations and races deemed superior should attain living space by displacing ones deemed weak or inferior.

The above paragraph is an ideology which would sow the seeds of ultimate destruction of any state which adopted the underlined sections.  Political violence might be necessary by the authorities (Police) during times of degenerate activism like the occupy movement taking over the streets of Melbourne or the blockade of Flinders St Station area by Indian Taxi drivers.  If members of the community have allowed themselves to be seduced by lies and distortions of people like Gautam Gupta (Fedration of Indian Students) for personal political ambition.. they will take the consequences.

More about what this ideology means:

"The Fascist conception of the State is all-embracing; outside of it no human or spiritual values can exist, much less have value. Thus understood, Fascism is totalitarian, and the Fascist State—a synthesis and a unit inclusive of all values—interprets, develops, and potentiates the whole life of a people." In The Legal Basis of the Total State, Nazi political theorist Carl Schmitt described the Nazi intention to form a "strong state which guarantees a totality of political unity transcending all diversity" in order to avoid a "disastrous pluralism tearing the German people apart"

Fascism officially advocates resolution to domestic class conflict within a nation to secure national solidarity

So far...I'm not seeing the down side of those last 2 paragraphs above.  We continue....

Fascism views violent action as a necessity in politics that fascism identifies as being an "endless struggle"
If you have ever noticed that history is the record of "when good men do nothing, evil triumphs" then I cannot see the down side of the above within the context of policing actions, when the culprits themselves engage in violent protest or revolutionary acts. (Occupy)

CRITICISMS of FASCISM.
i) One of the most common and strongest criticisms of fascism is that it is a tyranny in practice. (but I see that Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Kim Jung Ill and Pol Pot..all communists, were/are the epitomy of Tyranny)

ii) Fascism is commonly regarded as deliberately and entirely non-democratic and anti-democratic. (I thought I was reading of Marxism there.. )

iii)  Unprincipled Opportunism-  a by-product of unprincipled opportunism by Mussolini, whom they claimed changed his political stances merely to bolster his personal ambitions while he disguised them as being purposeful to the public. (Once again.. just substitute 'Mussolini' for every left wing ratbag in politics today..and they are synonymous)

iv) Fascism has been criticized for being ideologically dishonest. (hmm.. people like Kim Jung Ill and Mao and Stalin..who spoke about being the 'people's' hero.. were all guilty of mass murders and mass neglect on a monumental scale... once again..this could and does, more accurately describe communism/socialism)

THIS BLOG'S CRITICISM OF FASCISM.  I have to primary crtiicism's of the main examples of fascism in Germany and Italy of recent history.
i) Racial purity/superiority ideas.
ii) Extra territorial ambitions.
Any state which embraces those ideas does 2 things immediately.. 1)It alienates itself from the rest of the world and 2) It assures it's eventual destruction and demise from those other members of the global community!

CRITICISM OF COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM.   The debauchery and degeneracy of the communist state, it's attack on the family unit and private property... have the same outcome as for racist, imperialistic Fascism. Demise and destruction.  In their case it is more 'self' destruction, because as an economic system it simply does not, never has, and will never work.

NEW NATIONALISM?    As long as a Nation has the welfare of it's  people, the integrity of it's borders and independence of it's people at heart...then it should be an enduring happy healthy entity. It is a sad fact of political life though, that nefarious elements such as communist agitators will seek to create alienation between supposed classes (if they can't find them they will create them) and use this as a tool for the overthrow of the government and domination of the people by internationalist interests. Because of this, a 'tight reign' will be placed on such activities as a threat to national security and integrity. No newsmedia would be allowed to exist which could be identified as supporting such ideology. Criticism of political individuals and debate about public policy are legitimate issues..but when stories and an identifiable consistent bias that has as it's aim the undermining of the state are continuously being produced..action would be necessary. (Singapore is well known for this)  The Nation would be transformed from an 'adversarial' structure to a unified structure.
